Galderma Korea Debuts ALASTIN Skincare at Seoul Event
Galderma Korea introduced its ALASTIN skincare line for aesthetic procedures to about 100 influencers and 400 healthcare professionals at its GAIN RESTAGE event in Seoul on September 5, 2026.

ALASTIN Skincare Enters Korean Market
Galderma Korea formally introduced its ALASTIN skincare brand to the Korean market at its GAIN RESTAGE event, held on Saturday, September 5, 2026. The gathering at Seoul Dragon City, themed "Injectable Renaissance," brought together both consumers and a significant number of healthcare professionals.
The event showcased a comprehensive range of aesthetic solutions, covering dermal fillers, biostimulators, and specialized skincare products designed for use around aesthetic procedures. This launch marks a strategic expansion for Galderma's aesthetics portfolio in Korea, aiming to complement its established brands like Restylane and Sculptra.
Aesthetic Treatment Approaches and Influencer Engagement
A key session titled "GAIN Your Confidence" focused on tailored product selection and treatment strategies for different facial areas and aesthetic goals.
Experts including Lee Seung-hyun of VIEW Plastic Surgery, Song Jun-kyung from Orbit Clinic, Cho Jae-hong of Cho Jae Hong Clinic, and Hwang Jung-hoo of IH Clinic demonstrated procedures using Restylane Eyelight, Restylane Kysse, and Restylane Lyft. Discussions also explored combining the biostimulator Sculptra with Restylane fillers for enhanced results.
Approximately 100 influencers attended this session, which also featured actor Cha Joo-young, a newly appointed Restylane ambassador.
Scientific Insights and NASHA Technology Focus
Galderma Korea hosted a dedicated symposium for ALASTIN, attended by around 100 healthcare professionals, to formally introduce the skincare brand. ALASTIN products are designed to support skin health before and after aesthetic treatments, including those involving Restylane and Sculptra.
Dr. Alan Widgerow, Galderma's chief scientific officer and an ALASTIN developer, presented the scientific foundation of the products and their role in peri-procedural skincare. Additionally, Noh Seong-min of Benjamin Dermatology Clinic's Sinsa branch shared a Korean-specific protocol for ALASTIN, based on three months of local clinical experience.
The event concluded with the "Restylane RESTAGE: NASHA Renaissance" symposium for about 300 healthcare professionals, focusing on Galderma's NASHA technology for biphasic hyaluronic acid fillers and its clinical applications.
Galderma's Strategic Outlook in Aesthetics
Jang Sung-il, executive director of Galderma Korea's aesthetics business, noted the market's shift toward natural, safe, and personalized aesthetic outcomes.
He highlighted NASHA technology's distinct clinical applications due to its material properties, suggesting a renewed focus on its fundamental value, especially given the advanced injection techniques developed by Korean healthcare professionals.
Galderma Korea plans to investigate further applications for NASHA and broaden its aesthetics offerings, which include Restylane, Sculptra, and the newly launched ALASTIN. This strategy aims to capture growth in Korea's dynamic medical aesthetics sector by providing a comprehensive suite of products for both in-clinic procedures and complementary home care.
