Who we are
AsiaBeautyBrief is an English-language business title covering Asia’s beauty economy, published from Singapore. We report daily on the brands, manufacturers, ingredient houses, retailers, and investors behind the world’s largest beauty market, and we run The Beauty Exhibition, a vetted year-round showcase where that industry finds its partners. We are a new publication with a plain premise: report the facts, say where they came from, and correct the record when we get something wrong.
Why Asia, why now
Beauty’s center of gravity has moved to Asia. Korea exports more than $11 billion of cosmetics a year. Chinese brands are going global. The factories, ingredient labs, and packaging plants that supply the world’s beauty shelves run from Seoul to Shanghai to Ho Chi Minh City. Yet most of the industry’s English-language media still looks at Asia from the outside. We look from inside. Our promise in one line: the executive brief on Asia’s beauty economy, written where that economy lives.

Who reads us
Two audiences, one standard. The first is the industry: brand founders and executives, sourcing and R&D leaders, retail buyers, and investors who need to understand this market to work in it. The second is the engaged consumer, the reader who wants to know what’s actually in the bottle and what’s actually behind the trend. We write for both without talking down to either.
