New Fragrance Zone and Exhibitor Projections

in-cosmetics Asia 2026 will introduce a dedicated Fragrance Zone at its Bangkok event, scheduled for November 3-5 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC). Organizer RX Global states it anticipates over 770 companies will attend the show.

This expansion marks the first time the event will feature a specific area for fragrance ingredients and related technologies. The move reflects the organizer's assessment of growth within the Asia-Pacific fragrance ingredients market, which it values at $5 billion.

Zone Features and Industry Trends

The new Fragrance Zone will offer several interactive areas for attendees. A "Scent Bar" will allow visitors to test fragrance prototypes. The zone will also host an "Evolution of Fragrance" exhibit, which traces the origins of fragrance and its current role in beauty. Additionally, the event will feature its first-ever Fragrance Awards.

RX Global states these additions align with a wider industry shift towards multisensory product development, where formulations engage consumers through texture, fragrance, color, and emotional impact.

Asia-Pacific's Role and Co-located Event

Sarah Gibson, Event Director for in-cosmetics Asia, commented on Asia-Pacific's role in shaping the beauty industry. She cited South Korea's biotechnology advancements and Japan's fermentation science as examples of regional innovation.

Gibson further noted that Asia-Pacific houses approximately 60% of the world's population and is projected to become the largest global consumer market within the next decade. The 2026 in-cosmetics Asia event will be co-located with COSMEX, an exhibition focused on manufacturing, packaging, and OEM/ODM services for personal care and dietary supplement products in ASEAN.

Implications for Regional Businesses

For ingredient suppliers and formulators in Asia, the new Fragrance Zone at in-cosmetics Asia 2026 provides a focused platform for market entry and product showcasing. Brands seeking to innovate in multisensory beauty can identify new fragrance components and technologies.

The co-location with COSMEX also creates a unified sourcing point for both raw materials and manufacturing partners. This streamlines product development cycles for regional companies, driving efficiency for brands developing new personal care products for the Asia-Pacific consumer market.
