Regent Acquires Avon North America, Unifying Global Operations
Regent has agreed to acquire Avon North America from LG H&H, consolidating Avon's major businesses under a single owner. This move reunites Avon's global operations for the first time since 2016 and allows LG H&H to concentrate on its K-beauty and wellness portfolio.

Regent Consolidates Avon Businesses
Regent is set to acquire Avon North America from LG H&H, a Korean beauty group. This acquisition will bring Avon North America under common ownership with Avon’s international operations. Regent previously acquired Avon’s international businesses, covering Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, from Natura & Co. in January 2026.
The transaction for Avon North America is expected to finalize on September 1, 2026. This deal marks the first time since 2016 that the major Avon businesses will operate under a unified ownership structure and strategy.
Strategic Focus for Avon and LG H&H
The acquisition by Regent aims to create a more cohesive global Avon business. Incoming Avon CEO Lisa Siders will focus on product development, execution, and strengthening connections with market channels. Her mandate also includes enhancing opportunities for Avon Representatives and Ambassadors.
For LG H&H, the divestiture allows a sharpened focus on its core K-beauty, wellness, and retail growth initiatives. LG H&H had owned Avon North America since 2019, following the separation of Avon's businesses in 2016.
Implications for Asia's Beauty Economy
This strategic divestment by LG H&H, a prominent Korean beauty conglomerate, demonstrates a clear intent to streamline its portfolio. By selling Avon North America, LG H&H can allocate more resources and investment into its K-beauty and wellness segments.
This shift could intensify competition within the Asian beauty market, as LG H&H seeks to grow its established brands and introduce new offerings. Other Asian beauty companies may observe increased innovation and marketing efforts from LG H&H in these core categories, potentially influencing product development trends and market share dynamics across the region.
