Event Overview and Expected Scale

Cosmoprof Asia will hold its 29th edition in Hong Kong from November 10 to 13, 2026. Organizers anticipate over 78,000 visitors and more than 2,900 exhibitors from over 40 countries and regions. The B2B event maintains its dual venue structure. Cosmopack Asia, focusing on the supply chain, will operate at AsiaWorld-Expo from November 10-12.

This segment will feature OEM/ODM services, ingredients, packaging, and machinery. The finished products show, Cosmoprof Asia, will run at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 11-13. It will present brands across perfumery, cosmetics, nail, hair, and professional beauty segments.

Expanded Fragrance and Ingredient Attention

A key development for the 2026 event is an expanded fragrance program. In collaboration with Esxence, Cosmoprof Asia will introduce a dedicated niche fragrance area. This section will highlight independent perfume brands, which organizers claim represent a dynamic category within the Asia-Pacific market.

A specific installation, created with Centdegrés, will showcase selected fragrance houses by presenting their heritage and craftsmanship. Organizers state this offering will span artistic, independent, and mass-market fragrances, showing the category's growing importance for international buyers.

Ingredient innovation will also receive renewed attention through the Beauty Ingredients & Formulation Asia (BIFA) Symposium. This two-day program, co-organized with the Hong Kong Society of Cosmetic Chemists, will explore new ingredients, formulation advances, and fragrance trends.

Italy as Country of Honor and Business Implications for Asia

Italy has been named the Country of Honor for the 2026 edition. This initiative, supported by the Italian Trade Agency, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Cosmetica Italia, aims to establish a unified Italian presence across both Cosmopack Asia and Cosmoprof Asia. It will highlight Italy's manufacturing capabilities and beauty expertise.

The event also includes over 20 CosmoTalks and Cosmo Forum sessions, featuring approximately 50 international experts. These discussions will cover consumer behavior, emerging technologies, market trends, and product innovation. For Asian beauty executives, this expansion offers direct access to a broader range of niche fragrance brands and ingredient suppliers.

The Italian focus provides a clear channel for exploring European manufacturing partnerships and product sourcing. Educational sessions will deliver actionable insights into regional market shifts and evolving consumer demands.
