Cosmoprof Bologna Spotlights Invisible Beauty
The 'Invisible Beauty' initiative will showcase the people, expertise, and connections that shape the cosmetics industry, leading up to the trade show's 60th anniversary in 2027.

Cosmoprof Unveils Unseen Beauty Value
Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna is introducing a new communication project, 'The Invisible Beauty', ahead of its 60th anniversary edition in 2027. This initiative aims to reveal the often-unseen elements that contribute to beauty products, including the people, processes, and relationships behind the final product.
Enrico Zannini, General Manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof, stated that the 60th anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on the industry's evolution and recognize the collective dimension that drives its growth.
The project seeks to move beyond the showcase, focusing on the underlying work in laboratories, formulation research, packaging development, and supplier expertise.
Five Pillars Detail Industry Contributions
The 'Invisible Beauty' project will unfold through a storytelling platform structured around five key communication pillars. 'Invisible People' will share stories of professionals working behind the scenes. 'Invisible Match' explores the power of connections, highlighting how encounters and idea exchanges lead to innovation. 'Invisible Failure' addresses the role of mistakes and experimentation in the innovation process. 'Invisible Value' focuses on beauty as a global network that generates economic growth and opportunities, while 'Invisible Future' examines decisions, technologies, and visions shaping the industry's tomorrow.
2027 Event to Feature Exhibition and Film
The initiative will culminate during Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2027 with a photographic exhibition and an original short film. The exhibition will feature portraits of Cosmoprof employees, showcasing the human element and expertise behind the event's success.
The short film will premiere at the 2027 press conference, translating the project's values into a narrative about the perseverance and choices behind successful ventures. These elements are designed to engage Cosmoprof's international community and provide visibility to the work that makes the event possible.
Asian Brands Can Engage Global Industry Insights
The 'Invisible Beauty' project offers Asian beauty manufacturers and brands a direct channel to understand the global cosmetics supply chain more deeply. By focusing on behind-the-scenes processes, the initiative provides insights into research, development, and market interpretation.
Asian companies can use this platform to identify potential partners for formulation or packaging, or to benchmark their own innovation processes against global standards. This focus on underlying value will inform strategic decisions for Asian beauty businesses aiming for global expansion by 2027.
