In-cosmetics Korea 2026 Sees Record 20,000 Visitors in Seoul
The 2026 in-cosmetics Korea trade show recorded its largest attendance to date. Organizers stated that almost 20,000 industry professionals visited the Seoul event in July, with international attendees reaching a new high. The show showcased new ingredients and technologies, addressing trends in K-Beauty and inner beauty.

Record Attendance and International Reach
The 2026 in-cosmetics Korea trade show in Seoul hosted nearly 20,000 visitors in July, according to organizer RX Global. This attendance marked the event's largest gathering to date. International attendees comprised 18% of the total, the highest proportion in the show's history. RX Global stated this reflects increasing global interest in K-Beauty expertise.
The event, co-located with InterCHARM, connected ingredient suppliers, formulators, manufacturers, and finished product brands. Almost 400 exhibitors, including Ashland, Bloomage, Croda, Samkwang Chemical, and Hanbit Flavor & Fragrance, displayed new ingredients and technologies.
Focus on Innovation and Emerging Trends
The show highlighted new ingredients and industry trends. Its Innovation Zone featured 64 active and functional ingredients launched within the preceding eight months. The K-Beauty Zone focused on age-management solutions, attracting significant interest.
A returning Inner Beauty Zone addressed the growing integration of beauty, nutrition, and wellness, noting the momentum of nutricosmetics worldwide. The educational program covered marketing trends, technical seminars, K-Beauty insights, and inner beauty discussions.
Rodrigo De Vecchi, Research Director at L'Oréal Advanced Research, discussed how longevity science influences skin health. HyunJu Ji, executive director at Cosmax Bio, presented on beauty-from-within concepts.
Industry Engagement and Future Venue Plans
The event proved valuable for new participants, with 84 companies exhibiting for the first time. Thomas Cresswell, Chief Business Officer at Melt & Marble, reported meeting brands such as Chanel, LVMH, Amorepacific, LG, Kolmar, and Cosmax.
Sarah Gibson, exhibition director for in-cosmetics Korea, claimed the event is essential annually as K-Beauty influences global beauty innovation. The 2027 and 2028 editions will move to Songdo ConvensiA in Incheon while COEX undergoes renovation. This new location, 20 minutes from Incheon International Airport, will offer dedicated shuttle services.
A new Fragrance Zone will launch to highlight K-Scent developments. The next in-cosmetics Korea is scheduled for 22-24 June 2027.
Implications for Asia's Beauty Industry
For Asian beauty brands and manufacturers, the show's record attendance and focus on K-Beauty trends underscore the continued demand for Korean innovation. Ingredient suppliers gain direct access to R&D professionals and major brands, as Melt & Marble demonstrated.
The planned relocation for 2027 and 2028 requires logistics planning for exhibitors and attendees, though organizers state the new Incheon venue will maintain accessibility.
The introduction of a Fragrance Zone suggests a new focus area for product development and sourcing within the K-Beauty sector, potentially opening new commercial avenues for ingredient houses and finished product brands.
