ZIIP Expands Beyond Beauty Tech with Skincare Line, Priced from £39.99
The Beauty Tech Group's ZIIP introduced four targeted serum and moisturiser pillars, plus a foaming cleanser. JVN Hair also launched its first foam styling product.

ZIIP Enters Skincare Market
ZIIP, a brand from The Beauty Tech Group, expanded its portfolio in October 2026 by entering the skincare category. Previously known for its beauty technology, the company now offers a dedicated range of serums and moisturisers.
These new products are designed to address various skin concerns and are structured around four core pillars: Pro Collagen, Spot Control, Barrier Boost, and Glass Skin. The launch also includes a Reset Foaming Cleanser. Individual product pricing ranges from £39.99 to £59.99.
This move marks a strategic diversification for ZIIP, positioning it within the competitive traditional skincare market.
Targeted Formulations and Key Ingredients
The Pro Collagen pillar features Firm Serum, which contains stabilised retinol and biomimetic growth peptides, and Bounce Moisturizer, formulated with encapsulated collagen peptide and marine samphire bioactive. For Spot Control, ZIIP introduced Clear Serum, with encapsulated 1.8% salicylic acid, and Detox Moisturizer, incorporating a probiotic ferment and 4% niacinamide.
The Barrier Boost range includes Refresh Serum, featuring tranexamic acid and encapsulated resveratrol, along with Repair Moisturizer, which uses activated moringa and bio-identical ceramides.
Finally, the Glass Skin pillar offers Glow Serum, formulated with a 3% AHA/PHA/DCA gentle peeling complex, and Illuminate Moisturizer, with encapsulated apple AHA and a charged multi-mineral complex. The Reset Foaming Cleanser is built on a triple-acid complex for daily exfoliation.
Other Notable Product Launches
Beyond ZIIP, October 2026 saw additional significant product introductions across the beauty sector. JVN Hair, founded by Jonathan Van Ness, launched its first foaming product, the Curl Defining Mousse. This lightweight, silicone-free foam is designed for styling and long-lasting performance for curls.
Separately, Starface revived a popular collaboration to release limited-edition spotwear blind-boxes. Another new brand, AirHeads, entered the market with a hairdryer specifically designed for children, aiming to redefine their hair drying experience. Makeup artist Danessa Myricks and aesthetician Dr David Jack also introduced new products under their namesake brands.
Implications for Asia's Skincare Market
ZIIP's expansion into traditional skincare, following its beauty technology roots, signals a growing convergence between device-led and topical product offerings. For Asia's beauty market, this trend suggests increased competition in the premium skincare segment, particularly as tech-focused brands seek broader consumer bases.
Asian brands, especially those strong in innovative formulations or beauty tech, may observe similar diversification strategies to capture market share.
The stated price point of £39.99 to £59.99 positions ZIIP's new line in a mid-to-high tier, which could influence pricing strategies for local and international brands targeting affluent consumers in markets like South Korea, Japan, and Singapore.
Furthermore, the emphasis on specific ingredient complexes and targeted concerns reflects a global consumer demand for efficacy-driven products, pushing Asian formulators to continue innovating in active ingredient delivery and claim substantiation.
