LipoTrue Expands Portfolio at Asia Event

LipoTrue, an ingredient developer, has introduced three new biotechnological active ingredients: Glintarine, Red Aternaliss, and Kalizyme. The launches occurred at in-cosmetics Asia 2026, where the company showcased its latest innovations at booth V50. These new actives combine marine biotechnology, plant-based technologies, and biomimetic science.

LipoTrue states the ingredients address key skincare concerns including skin radiance, cellular longevity, and epidermal renewal, reflecting the company's focus on precise and nature-inspired cosmetic solutions.

Glintarine and Red Aternaliss Target Radiance and Longevity

Glintarine is a marine ferment, which LipoTrue says is inspired by the sea surface microlayer. The company states this ingredient regulates melanin dynamics during epidermal renewal, supporting pigment redistribution and clearance.

LipoTrue claims Glintarine combines depigmenting, exfoliating, and antioxidant properties to promote brighter, smoother, and more even-looking skin, with visible results reportedly appearing from the first week of use. Red Aternaliss, focused on cellular longevity, integrates Edelweiss stem cells with red algae extracts.

LipoTrue indicates this active targets the nine Hallmarks of Aging, supporting genomic protection, regeneration, cellular resilience, and epidermal integrity to help preserve skin function and renewal over time.

Kalizyme for Epidermal Renewal, Diverse Approaches

The third active, Kalizyme, is a biomimetic enzyme of human KLK7. LipoTrue produces Kalizyme using its Wild Plants as Biofactories technology, taking inspiration from the skin's natural desquamation process.

The company states Kalizyme supports precise exfoliation while maintaining skin comfort, combining exfoliation with active regeneration to help balance epidermal renewal and improve skin appearance.

LipoTrue emphasizes that while each of these new ingredients approaches skin performance from a distinct biological perspective, they share the goal of translating advanced science into effective solutions for modern cosmetic formulations.

Implications for Asian Formulators

These new ingredients offer formulators in Asia targeted solutions for developing products focused on luminosity, healthy aging, and gentle exfoliation, along with improving the visible quality of renewed skin.

The introduction at in-cosmetics Asia 2026 directly targets the region's expanding beauty market, providing local and international brands operating in Asia with new options for product development.

LipoTrue's focus on integrating diverse biotechnologies shows a continued drive toward specialized, science-backed ingredients that cater to evolving consumer demands for efficacy and natural inspiration in cosmetic products across the continent.
