The beauty giant achieved 7.7% reported sales growth for the first nine months of 2026, driven by professional hair care and dermatological beauty, with South Asia Pacific, Middle East, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa as the fastest-growing region.

L'Oréal's Nine-Month Revenue Reaches €35.33 Billion
L'Oréal announced total sales of €35.33 billion for the first nine months of 2026, reflecting a 7.7% increase on a reported basis. Like-for-like sales growth stood at 6.9% for the period. The company's third-quarter revenues alone reached €11.56 billion, marking an 11.9% rise on a reported basis.
Adjusted like-for-like growth in the third quarter accelerated to 7.7%, indicating a strong finish to the period. These figures demonstrate consistent performance across the company's diverse beauty portfolio during the year.
Divisional Growth Led by Professional and Dermatological Beauty
Several key divisions fueled L'Oréal's growth over the nine-month period. Professional Products saw a 12.3% increase on an adjusted like-for-like basis. The Dermatological Beauty division expanded by 11.6%, supported by strong performances from brands such as La Roche-Posay, CeraVe, and SkinCeuticals.
L'Oréal Luxe recorded 5.8% growth, primarily driven by strong demand for fragrances and a recovery in skincare. The Consumer Products division also advanced, posting a 4.2% increase in sales.
SAPMENA Region and E-commerce Drive Expansion
Geographically, all regions contributed to L'Oréal's overall sales growth. The South Asia Pacific, Middle East, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa (SAPMENA) region led this expansion, achieving a notable 15.8% increase in sales. Digital channels also played a significant role, with e-commerce sales rising by approximately 17% across the group.
Furthermore, L'Oréal completed its acquisition of a majority stake in Innovist, an Indian personal care company, during this period, reinforcing its strategic focus on emerging markets.
Implications for Asia's Beauty Market
L'Oréal's robust performance, particularly the 15.8% growth in the SAPMENA region and the acquisition of Innovist in India, signals continued strategic investment in Asia's beauty economy. This indicates that major international players are prioritizing digital distribution and targeted M&A to capture demand in high-growth markets.
Asian beauty brands and retailers should note the strong performance of dermatological beauty and luxury fragrances, suggesting these categories offer significant opportunities. The emphasis on e-commerce, with a 17% increase, also highlights the critical need for comprehensive digital strategies for market penetration and consumer engagement in the region.
