New Leadership at Presperse

Presperse, an ingredient supplier, has named Jennifer Zientek as its new President and Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. In this role, Zientek will oversee the company's business and operations, guiding its growth strategy.

Her mandate includes building upon Presperse's established strengths in innovation, technical expertise, customer collaboration, and service quality. This appointment places a seasoned executive at the helm, tasked with steering the company's strategic direction and day-to-day execution.

Zientek's Return and Industry Experience

Zientek returns to Presperse after a three-year tenure at Syensqo, where she served as Regional Market Director for Home and Personal Care/Amines. At Syensqo, she was responsible for the commercial strategy and performance of the North American Consumer Care business.

Prior to that, Zientek held the position of Vice President for Global Account Management, Strategy, and Design at Presperse. During her previous time with the company, she played a key role in shaping global account strategy across the wider Sumitomo cosmetics network, developing new business and innovation opportunities, and reinforcing strategic customer relationships.

Executive Endorsement and Vision

William Auriemma, Chief Executive Officer of Presperse, expressed enthusiasm for Zientek's return, citing her deep understanding of customers and markets, commercial expertise, and collaborative leadership style. Auriemma stated that her knowledge of Presperse makes her well-positioned to lead the company's next growth phase.

Zientek shared her excitement about rejoining a team and company she knows well, emphasizing Presperse's foundation of strong people, technical expertise, and customer relationships. She looks forward to contributing a broader perspective to create new value for customers and shape the company's future growth chapter.

Implications for Asian Beauty Stakeholders

This leadership change at Presperse, a company within the Sumitomo cosmetics network, holds relevance for Asia's beauty economy. Zientek's proven experience in global account management and strategy development across the Sumitomo network suggests a continued focus on international market integration and innovation.

Asian beauty brands and manufacturers sourcing ingredients may see shifts in product development priorities or supply chain strategies from Presperse.

Her return could influence how the company aligns its offerings with global beauty trends, potentially impacting ingredient availability and technical support for partners within the broader Sumitomo Group and beyond in key Asian markets.
