Pure Beauty Awards 2026 Crowns Asian Brands, Laneige and Atomy Win
The London ceremony, marking 25 years, introduced a dual judging process across 21 categories, recognizing both industry expertise and consumer appeal.

Pure Beauty Awards Mark 25th Anniversary
The Pure Beauty Awards 2026 took place on October 15 at London’s Grosvenor House, marking its 25th anniversary as a significant program in the beauty sector. This year, the awards consolidated its Pure Beauty Global Awards and Pure Beauty Awards UK into a single flagship event, reflecting its expanded international scope.
The ceremony drew over 300 attendees and honored leading beauty brands and startups across 21 competitive categories. This milestone event showcased the industry's evolution and the continuous pursuit of quality and innovation within the beauty economy.
New Dual Judging Approach Implemented
For its 25th year, the Pure Beauty Awards introduced a new dual judging system to determine its winners. An independent panel of beauty industry experts selected the recipients of the 'Judges Choice' awards. Simultaneously, the general public cast votes for the 'Readers Vote' accolades.
This approach aimed to acknowledge both professional recognition and broad consumer appeal as distinct yet important perspectives on product excellence. Pure Beauty Editor Amanda May noted the strong competition, with nearly 500 entries across all categories.
Asian Brands Secure Top Honors
Several Asian beauty brands secured top honors at the 2026 awards. South Korea's Laneige earned the 'Judges Choice' for Best Lip Product with its GLAZE CRAZE TINTED LIP SERUM. Fellow South Korean brand Atomy received the 'Readers Vote' for Best Moisturiser for its ABSOLUTE CellActive NUTRITION CREAM.
From Sri Lanka, Spa Ceylon Ayurveda was recognized with the 'Judges Choice' for Best Wellness Product for its SLEEP INTENSE DREAM BALM. Global brands such as Jo Malone London, Sculpted by Aimee, Makeup by Mario, and Shark also received awards.
Asia's Growing Influence in Global Beauty
The success of South Korean and Sri Lankan brands at the Pure Beauty Awards 2026 demonstrates Asia's expanding influence in the international beauty market. Such global recognition can enhance the visibility and credibility of Asian brands, potentially driving export growth and attracting new partnerships.
For Asia-based product developers and brand strategists, the dual judging system offers valuable insight into both expert-validated quality and consumer-driven popularity, informing future innovation and market positioning. This trend suggests a continued focus on Asian beauty innovations.
