Regent Buys Avon North America, LG H&H Exits
Global investment firm Regent has acquired Avon North America from South Korean conglomerate LG H&H. This transaction unifies Avon’s North American and international businesses under single ownership, a structure not seen since 2016. LG H&H stated its intent to focus on global K-beauty and retail initiatives following the divestment.

Regent Acquires Avon North America, Unifying Global Operations
Regent, a global investment firm founded by Michael A. Reinstein, has completed the acquisition of Avon North America from South Korean conglomerate LG H&H. This deal brings Avon North America and Avon International under a single ownership structure for the first time since 2016.
Regent previously acquired Avon’s international operations, covering Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, from Natura & Co. in January 2026. Brazil's Natura & Co. continues to manage the Avon brand within South America.
Michael A. Reinstein, Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Regent, commented that North America is pivotal for Avon's future direction, stating it will play a defining role as Avon’s largest market.
Leadership and Strategic Direction for the Combined Entity
Upon the transaction’s expected closing on September 1, Lisa Siders will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer for the newly combined Avon entity. Siders currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Avon International and Regent’s Operating Partner for Avon.
She outlined her priorities for the integrated business, which include strengthening the brand for its next growth phase. Siders aims to achieve this through improved products, sharper execution, and a stronger connection to the market. She also plans to develop a brand experience that builds daily customer loyalty.
The consolidation aims to provide clearer ownership, a shared strategy, and a more robust foundation for growth across all markets.
LG H&H Shifts Focus to Global K-Beauty and Retail
For LG H&H, the divestment of Avon North America allows the South Korean conglomerate to concentrate on its core global K-beauty and retail strategies. This strategic adjustment by LG H&H demonstrates a clear intention to streamline its portfolio and dedicate resources to its primary growth areas within the beauty sector.
The unified ownership of Avon International, which includes operations across Asia, means a singular strategic approach will now guide Avon’s direct-selling business in these markets.
Asian beauty executives should note LG H&H's renewed emphasis on K-beauty, potentially signaling increased investment and market activity from the company in that segment, while Avon's Asian operations will align with Regent's consolidated global vision.
