Cosmogen & Asquan Group Enters New Growth Phase
Cosmogen & Asquan Group reports a significant expansion, six months after its acquisition of Asquan in April. The company has increased its product catalogue tenfold and doubled its sales team, growing from six to twelve individuals. This strategic move positions the group as a broader global provider of premium beauty packaging across various categories.
Priscille Allais, CEO of Cosmogen & Asquan, stated that Cosmogen is transitioning beyond being solely an applicator tube company to a comprehensive global premium beauty packaging player.
New Innovations Highlighted at Luxe Pack Monaco
The expanded portfolio and latest innovations were showcased at Luxe Pack Monaco. Among the new offerings is the Slanted Ball Tube, which combines a 16mm slanted tube with a stainless-steel rollerball for enhanced cooling sensations in eye-care applications.
Cosmogen & Asquan Group is also introducing larger versions of existing formats, such as the Tense Tube Round and a 50 ml Needle Dropper Glass, an increase from its previous 30 ml option, to meet demand for more generous product sizes, particularly in hair care.
The company also featured Drop to Drop, a precision dispensing solution leveraging its needle-style applicator expertise.
Playful Design Meets Integrated Sustainability
Cosmogen & Asquan Group identifies playful packaging as a key trend, driven by vibrant colors and tactile materials. New launches in this area include the Jelly range, featuring encapsulated soft silicone applicators like Re’Use Jelly, Jelly Tube, and Jelly Kabuki, designed for soft-touch sensoriality and easy cleaning.
Decorative elements, such as heart-shaped PET lip applicators and miniature applicators, also gain prominence. While emphasizing innovation, the company continues to integrate sustainability into product development. This includes expanding eco-designed versions of existing platforms, such as the Eco Tense and Eco Needle Tube.
Furthermore, Asquan's patented technologies, like the Powder Drop Jar (recently launched by bareMinerals) for hygienic loose powder application and Bondi for one-handed dispensing of low-viscosity products, are now part of the group's extended offerings.
Future Acquisitions and Asia Market Implications
The Cosmogen & Asquan Group plans to continue its growth trajectory, confirming it is exploring another significant acquisition for 2027. This move aims to add complementary expertise to the group's capabilities.
For beauty brands and manufacturers across Asia, this expansion signals increased access to a broader range of premium, innovative, and sustainable packaging solutions from a major global supplier. Asian brands seeking to differentiate products with advanced applicators, eco-friendly formats, or playful designs may find new sourcing opportunities.
Conversely, Asian packaging suppliers should note the competitive landscape evolving with a larger, more diversified global player entering their market space.
