Innocean Wins Tweezerman for US Generative Engine Optimisation
Korean advertising firm Innocean Worldwide has expanded its US client base, securing beauty tools brand Tweezerman for generative engine optimization services. The company is also consolidating its US operations into a single campus in El Segundo, California, aiming to improve cross-functional collaboration.

Innocean Expands US Client Portfolio
Innocean Worldwide, a Korean advertising company, has expanded its US client portfolio. The company announced on Monday new client acquisitions, including the beauty tools brand Tweezerman. This addition broadens Innocean's presence in the US market, particularly within the beauty sector.
Innocean's US unit will provide generative engine optimization services for Tweezerman, a brand owned by Germany's Zwilling J.A. Henckels Group. These services aim to improve Tweezerman's visibility within artificial intelligence-generated search results.
This move demonstrates Innocean's focus on specialized digital marketing capabilities for beauty brands, alongside new clients Five Guys and the California Lottery for its media subsidiary Canvas Worldwide.
US Operations Consolidate in California
Concurrently with its client expansion, Innocean is consolidating its US operations in El Segundo, California. The company plans to bring its three primary US units together into a new creative campus. Innocean USA will relocate its headquarters from Huntington Beach to this El Segundo campus.
Its US media subsidiary, Canvas Worldwide, moved its Los Angeles office to the same area in July. This consolidation is intended to foster closer collaboration among creative services, strategy, media, data, artificial intelligence, and technology teams.
El Segundo is an area that houses information technology, advertising technology, defense, and aerospace companies, and is growing as a hub for robotics and deep-tech businesses.
Strategic Implications for Growth and Asian Beauty Brands
Innocean's global business chief, Jeon Il-soo, stated the company will reinforce its core businesses. He added that Innocean will actively pursue clients in new service areas and industries, aiming to build a sustainable foundation for US growth.
For Asian beauty brands, this development highlights the growing importance of specialized digital visibility, particularly in AI-driven search environments. As a Korean firm, Innocean's enhanced capabilities in generative engine optimization could offer a specific advantage to K-beauty brands seeking to improve their digital footprint in Western markets.
The move reflects an evolving landscape where advertising firms adapt to new search paradigms, impacting how beauty products reach consumers and requiring brands to adjust their digital strategies.
