PCHi China Seeks Ingredient Innovation
PCHi China has opened nominations for its Fountain Awards, an annual program recognizing advancements in personal care and homecare ingredients. These awards will be presented during the PCHi 2027 trade show, scheduled for February 24–26, 2027. The event will take place at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou.
The initiative aims to highlight new active ingredients, pioneering innovations, formulation science, and green solutions for the beauty and personal care sectors. Nominations officially opened on August 19, 2026.
Eligibility and Categories
Exhibiting companies at PCHi 2027 are eligible to participate in the Fountain Awards. Each company can submit up to three products, with each product nominated in only one of five categories.
These categories include Active Ingredients, Pioneering Innovative Ingredients, Formulation & Functional Ingredients, Green/Sustainable, and Finished-Product Brands (including OEM/ODM) Self-Developed Ingredients. A PCHi spokeswoman states the awards capture the “spirit of innovation” and provide visibility for standout ingredient technologies and formulation science.
Submission Requirements and Deadline
Submissions require detailed supporting documents, including product specifications, efficacy and safety data, and a description of the innovation. All materials must be provided in both Chinese and English. Entries are processed online through the Exhibitor Portal, which handles the entire entry and review process.
The deadline for all nominations is November 23, 2026, at 23:00 (GMT+8). Finalists will gain exposure through a dedicated Fountain Awards display area at the PCHi 2027 event, connecting them with industry professionals.
Consequence for Asia's Beauty Industry
For ingredient suppliers and beauty brands operating in Asia, these awards represent a direct channel to showcase new developments to a wide audience of industry professionals and decision-makers within China's beauty economy.
Companies planning to exhibit at PCHi 2027 in Guangzhou should review the submission criteria and prepare their documentation well before the November 23, 2026, deadline. Participation offers a platform for new technologies to gain market recognition and connect with potential partners or buyers in the region.
