CCE Offers EU Regulatory Training

Cosmetics Consultants Europe (CCE) will host two online training sessions in late 2026, addressing critical aspects of cosmetic product safety assessment and European Union regulatory compliance. The virtual seminars are scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, and Tuesday, December 8, offering industry professionals a chance to deepen their understanding of EU standards.

CCE operates as a Belgium-chartered association, bringing together consultants across the cosmetics, ingredients, and personal care sectors. Its direct involvement in EU regulation positions it as a key resource for navigating complex compliance requirements.

Key Topics and Dates

The first session, "Exposure Scenarios," is set for Tuesday, November 10, 2026. This training will cover methods for evaluating potential consumer exposure to cosmetic ingredients. The second seminar, "Safety Margins," will take place on Tuesday, December 8, 2026, focusing on the calculation and application of safety margins in product formulations.

Both sessions are designed to provide practical insights into complex regulatory requirements. The training times are set for 12EST, 17GMT, 18-19.00CET, and 19-20.00EET to accommodate a broad international audience.

Participation Fees and Registration

Participation in the online seminars costs 150€ for general attendees. Members of Cosmetics Consultants Europe and individuals who have previously attended CCE e-Training programs can access both sessions for a reduced fee of 50€.

Interested parties can register by emailing steven.hanft@cpsr-education.com and quoting the code "2 Seminars 2026." This pricing structure aims to make specialized regulatory education accessible to a wider range of industry professionals seeking to ensure compliance.

Implications for Asian Exporters

Asian beauty brands and manufacturers exporting to the European Union must comply with the region's stringent cosmetic safety regulations. These CCE seminars offer a direct pathway for regulatory affairs teams in Asia to understand the nuances of EU product safety assessment, including exposure scenarios and safety margin calculations.

Staying current with these requirements is crucial for market access and avoiding potential product recalls or market entry barriers. Companies should ensure their technical staff are trained in these areas to maintain compliance and competitive advantage in the EU market.
