VAIM, Bloomage Biotech Launch JuveLook in China
The medical aesthetics product, approved by China's NMPA in July, was introduced at a Beijing event attended by 500 professionals.

JuveLook's China Debut
Korean medical aesthetics firm VAIM officially introduced its JuveLook product in China on Tuesday, 13 October 2026. The launch event in Beijing, co-hosted with local partner Bloomage Biotech, drew approximately 500 medical aesthetics professionals, including physicians and hospital executives.
This market entry follows JuveLook's classification as a Class III medical device by China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in July. The event took place at M Space in Beijing's Haidian District, with Bloomage Biotech mobilizing its extensive local network to gather participants.
Strategic Partnership and Market Expansion
VAIM outlined plans to collaborate closely with Bloomage Biotech to promote JuveLook and establish a network of medical institution partnerships across China. The Beijing event featured presentations on business strategies from Bloomage Biotech's CEO and VAIM CEO Kim Jong-wang, who discussed international operations.
This launch follows a "JOURNEY TO THE ORIGIN" program in September, where VAIM hosted 170 Chinese medical professionals and hospital executives in Korea. These delegates visited VAIM's Seoul headquarters and Daejeon manufacturing plant to observe the product's research, development, and production.
Product Development and Clinical Applications
Attendees at the Beijing launch gained insights into JuveLook's origins and clinical utility. Dr. Kim Gun-poong, the product's inventor, delivered a presentation detailing its research, development, and underlying technology.
Dr. Park Je-young, director of Apgujeong Oracle Clinic, then discussed JuveLook's specific characteristics and practical applications in a clinical setting. A subsequent roundtable facilitated discussions among participants on integrating JuveLook into Chinese clinics, drawing on the experiences of Korean physicians.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing JuveLook's inaugural official partner medical institutions in China.
Implications for China's Medical Aesthetics Sector
VAIM views the Beijing launch as a significant step for JuveLook's full-scale entry into the Chinese market, leveraging its NMPA approval. The company plans to expand its brand presence through further launch events and academic exchanges in key Chinese regions, working alongside local physicians and medical institutions.
This strategy, in partnership with Bloomage Biotech, aims to build a robust network of healthcare providers and secure JuveLook's position within China's competitive medical aesthetics landscape.
For clinics and distributors in China, this means new opportunities to integrate a NMPA-approved Class III medical device into their offerings, potentially shaping future treatment protocols.
